Webbie Arrested, Charged with Battery and Robbery

More trouble for Trill Ent. as Baton Rouge rapper Webbie has been arrested in his Louisianna hometown.

The 27-year-old rapper, born Webster Gradney, Jr., allegedly attacked a woman and stole her purse, which contained $340. He then kicked and pushed her down two flights of stairs, according to reports.

He was arrested around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

Webbie allegedly went into the Chase Suites in Baton Rouge, where he robbed and assaulted the woman. According to reports, Webbie was previously barred from this establisment.

Trill Ent. is also the record home of imprisoned rapper Lil Boosie and murdered rapper Lil Phat.

Lil Phat died from multiple gunshot wounds outside of an Atlanta hospital in June.
